OKLL, which seeks to deliver 2x leveraged exposure to the daily share price movement of Oklo Inc. Class A (NYSE: OKLO) topped the list with over 77% weekly gains. Shares of Oklo (OKLO) have seen a significant surge in early January 2026, driven by a combination of a major commercial partnership with Big Tech and a strategic federal agreement that accelerates its timeline to production.
2. KOLD – ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Natural Gas
KOLD, which offers daily inverse leveraged exposure to natural gas, ranked second on the list of top performing levered/ inverse ETFs, returning over 32% last week. Natural gas prices fell last week primarily due to milder-than-expected winter temperatures reducing heating demand, coupled with ample supply levels and forecasts for continued moderation, although some regions saw localized price drops due to pipeline issues.
3. NAIL – Direxion Daily Homebuilders & Supplies Bull 3X Shares
The NAIL ETF, focusing on the US housing segment, ranked among the top-performing levered ETFs, returning over ~29%, driven by a modest improvement in mortgage rates.
4. GDXU – MicroSectors Gold Miners 3X Leveraged ETN
GDXU is a leveraged equity fund that provides 3x exposure to an index comprised of two of the largest gold miners’ ETFs, viz VanEck Gold Miners ETF (GDX) and VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ), that invest in the global gold mining industry. GDXU returned over 23% last week. Gold prices rose again as US-Venezuela tensions flare.
5. AGQ – Proshares Ultra Silver
AGQ ETF, which offers 2x daily long leverage to the Silver bullion, returned ~20% last week. Silver prices have hit historic highs in mid-January 2026, driven by a perfect storm of geopolitical turmoil in Venezuela and Iran, Fed rate cut expectations, structural supply deficit, and accelerating industrial demand.
6. KORU – Direxion MSCI Daily South Korea Bull 3X Shares
KORU provides 300% daily leveraged exposure to an index of large- and mid-cap South Korean companies, featured on the list of top performing leveraged ETFs last week with ~20% returns, as broader Asia-Pacific markets rallied. Gains were driven by strong regional momentum, even as investors monitored potential U.S. military intervention in Iran.
7. AMZZ – GraniteShares 2x Long AMZN Daily ETF
AMZZ aims to deliver 2x the price return for a single day of Amazon stock, and was one of the contenders on the list with 18%+ weekly gains. Amazon stock is rising as the company expands its AI ecosystem with the launch of Alexa.com, a new web-based interface that brings its Alexa+ assistant to browsers. Investor sentiment is further bolstered by the debut of the Amazon Ember Artline, a new lifestyle 4K TV designed to double as an AI-powered decor piece.
8. AMZU – Direxion Daily AMZN Bull 2X Shares
AMZU, which provides 2x leveraged exposure to the daily price movement for shares of Amazon stock, was another Amazon-focused fund on last week’s list.
9. CARU – MAX Auto Industry 3X Leveraged ETN
CARU is an ETN that tracks 3x of the daily price movements of an index consisting of auto industry companies listed in the U.S. The ETN clocked ~16% weekly returns. U.S. auto industry grew despite supply chain snarls, new tariffs, and the removal of EV tax credits. U.S. new car sales grew 2% in 2025. The resilience was fueled by a surge in hybrid demand and strong buying power from affluent consumers, who offset a decline in lower-income purchases.
10. NUGT – Direxion Daily Gold Miners Index Bull 2x Shares
Another gold ETF, NUGT seeks daily investment results of 200% of the performance of the NYSE Arca Gold Miners Index, also ranked among the top levered ETFs. The ETF gained more than 15% in the last week.
